Interested in completing an internship that links community-based learning
with career-readiness? Read below and apply

*What is the course and how is it structured?*
*PRAX 286 Impact Beloit: Community & Civic Engagement* (1 unit) meets once
a week on Wed. nights and students complete a 90-hour internship with a
local organization to develop personal and professional skills while making
contributions and growing their network.


*Where do students complete their internships?*
Past students have been placed with for-profit and non-profit organizations
such as the Welty Environmental Center, Todd Elementary Reading Buddies
Program, Stateline Literacy Council, Nature at the Confluence, Boys and
Girls Club, Manpower Job Center, and Family Services. (There are other
possibilities!)
