Dear Beloiters,
As engaged and informed citizens, it is essential for us to recognize the
immense impact our voices can have in shaping our communities and our
nation. As college students, we possess the power to influence the future
through democratic action, and one crucial way to do this is by exercising
our right to vote in state elections.
During this fall break, take advantage of the perfect opportunity to cast
your vote and make a difference. Even if you're not currently residing in
your home state, you can still participate in the electoral process. Many
states offer various options, including absentee or mail-in voting. It's
essential to familiarize yourself with the voting process for your state
and make a plan to cast your vote.If you are able, voting is a way to take
action on important issues like the climate and public safety (from
reflective street signs to fire department funding). Can we count on you to
follow the election process and vote?
